The 2011 Clayton Homes Turkey Trot for Education on Nov. 20 was a huge success!
A big thank you goes to all our sponsors, volunteers and the 1,200 runners and walkers who participated in the event.
Appreciation also goes to all the students, teachers, principals, parents and many others who supported this year's Turkey Trot.

School Challenge Winners:
Challenge #1: The top three Blount County Schools with the highest percent of participation won additional cash prizes:
- $500 1st Prize – Carpenters Elementary School
- $250 2nd Prize – Fairview Elementary School
- $125 3rd Prize – Townsend Elementary
Highest percent of participation is determined by comparing a school's enrollment numbers as of Nov. 1, 2011 with the number of registered and paid entries for that school on race day.
Challenge #2: The overall top three schools with the most number of total registered and paid entries.
- $500 1st Prize – Carpenters Elementary School
- $250 2nd Prize – Rockford Elementary School
- $125 3rd Prize – Fairview Elementary
