Whether it’s a box of pencils, a multi-year pledge, or planned gifts from your estate, there is a way for anyone to help students in Blount County Schools. Plus donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of IRS rules and regulations because the BCEF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Corporate Donations & Sponsorships
Corporate goodwill is well spent when invested in the future of our community. The BCEF works with businesses to identify donor and/or sponsorship opportunities that align with corporate giving guidelines. Accountability, measurability and value-added publicity opportunities enable donors to see bottom-line results and take ownership in supporting educational excellence for the future workforce. Cash Donations "In Honor of"
Multi-year pledges or one-time gifts can support the overall mini-grant program for all schools, or be earmarked for a specific program such as Science, Music or Art. Contact the BCEF to learn more about the many ways you can support Blount County Schools. |

School Supplies
Basics school supplies such as pencils, paper, pens and backpacks are distributed to students in need. The BCEF fulfills teacher requests for supplies when they identify a student who needs school supplies. The BCEF's Annual School Supply Drive is Saturday, August 7 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Alcoa and Maryville Walmart locations. Check back soon for more details.

Honor a Teacher
If a favorite teacher has gone the extra mile, make sure they know you appreciate it! This recognition program puts deserving teachers in the spotlight. The BCEF will send the teacher a letter, certificate suitable for framing and spotlight the teacher in The Daily Times for a $25 donation! Contact the BCEF to learn more about how to honor your favorite teacher.

Your company may have a program that will help super size your donation! Check with your human resources department to find out whether they offer employee matching grants.

Enduring Gifts
Planned giving can have enduring results for you, your family and students in Blount County Schools. Insurance policies, wills, stocks, annuities, real estate or other investment vehicles provide terrific gifting opportunities and often spare you and/or your family from taxes levied on capital gains and inheritance.
